Question
How do I run WordQ from a limited account?
Answer
If the user is not the sole user of the computer and is using a limited account, WordQ will not run unless installed by someone with Administrator permissions and the full WordQ directory is given READ/WRITE permissions.
1. Ensure that when WordQ is installed that you are the administrator (owner or prime user of computer) and that you choose to install it for use by anyone when prompted in the installation process.
2. While logged in as an administrator (owner or prime user of computer) locate the WordQ folder, e.g., c:\Program Files\WordQ2 using Windows Explorer or under My Computer.
3. Right-click the WordQ folder and choose
Properties
from the pop-up menu.
4. Click the
Security
tab
5. Click on the user name and ensure that they have Read and Write permissions checked.
